I don't quite understand what led to the nightly ritual of putting Riley to sleep but it is working. I take her in her room and sit in the rocking chair and I feed her. Some days she will drink for 20 minutes and others it feels like an eternity. When I stand up to put her in her bed she almost always wakes up and cries. I have to leave the room or she will try to cling onto me and not let go. As soon and Sam sees me come out he knows it's his turn to go in and console her. When he picks her up she twists her body and points to her bed. He then sets her down and she falls asleep.It's fun to see each kid's unique quirks and personalities develop.
