Wild card

Mason, our four year, is our Charlie Day. He is our wildcard. He says and does the most random, funny, amazing things and we never know what will happen next. Here are a few examples from this past week.

Today we got home from work and school and apparently he was hungry for a snack but also wanted to play. I walked outside to find him jumping on the trampoline with a bag of shredded cheese. He then told me the "cheese was jumping with him."

A couple days ago he was sitting at the table after he grabbed carrots and he said, "I'm having a picnic with my caterpillar. Come to the picnic." Sure enough, the caterpillar was sitting on the table surrounded in a field of carrots.

I told him "I love you" and he responded with, "I know... You don't have to tell me that everyday."

A few days ago, one of his brothers was talking with me about an unfortunate choice that he made and Mason chimes in "choices and consequences...."

Last example for this week. I got a text from our neighbor (AKA Neighbor Mama) that said, "Can you please tell Mason not to feed the chickens Cheetos. They love weeds and dandelions though."

Classic Mason.
