As part of the nighttime ritual, we do mysteries and songs. The mysteries include:
- What did you do helpful or kind today?
- What was the most fun thing you did today?
- What is something you are going to do to make tomorrow an awesome day?
- What mystery do you have for mom and dad?
Then I have to sing a ridiculously long list of songs in a specific sequence, ending with "You Are My Sunshine".
Tonight while singing the last song, I looked over and my 6 year old was just smiling at me with the most adorable and loving smile while he was laying in his bed. He said the sweetest thing. "Mom, I just love your voice." 💜 ❤️
These tiny little moments of specialness make all of the toughest moments worth it in the end.
