I was helping one of my sons get changed at night. We have found so many battles are eliminated when they change into their clothes for the morning right before bed. It's what works for us.
He was looking through his short sleeve shirt drawer and says, "Oooh I didn't know I had a prison shirt." and then proceeded to explain why his black and white striped shirt looks like a shirt that everyone wears in prison and that's why he wanted to wear that one. No idea where he picked that one up from..but definitely gave me a good laugh
My husband and I have quote books that we keep for our children. Some of those lines we have captured are pure gold!
